Dear Neighbors:

I am a physician and sixth generation Minnesotan who just completed my first session representing our District (33B) in the Minnesota House of Representatives. It has been an honor to serve our District.

I’m proud that while Minnesota has divided government, both sides were willing to compromise and get the job done.

The final budget protects healthcare for more than a million Minnesotans, adopts measures to address the Opioid epidemic, adds protections for seniors in assisted living, increases per-pupil funding for our public schools, provides additional environmental protections for our beautiful state, and achieved Federal tax conformity and implemented a middle class tax cut.

It’s a tremendous privilege to represent you and our communities in St. Paul. Although the session has wrapped up for the year, I hope you’ll stay in touch and share your ideas going forward!

I hope you’ll attend one of my upcoming Summer Town Hall meetings (see Events & News). Please don’t hesitate to reach out and let me know if I can be of assistance.
